This Scene is inspired by the novel Don Quijote. The old nobleman recites a part of one of the books that made him crazy.

The project was made completely in 3D. The room and all the assets were modeled and textured in Maya taking as reference the look of a House from the XV century. The character was modeled in Maya and Mudbox. and his texture was painted in Mari. The character is completely rigged. So is the book that he has in his hands. The animation includes lipsync, I used nCloth for the clothes, xGen for the hair and Fluids for the fire. The lighting was also made in Maya, and for the final composition I used Nuke.
